The RCP’s Future Hospital Commissionis an innovative and groundbreaking project to review all aspects of the design and delivery of inpatient hospital care. The Future Hospital Commission, chaired by Professor Sir Michael Rawlins, aims to address growing concerns about the standards of care currently seen in hospitals and to make recommendations to provide patients with the safe, high-quality, sustainable care that they deserve.
This evening event is designed to provide medical students and foundation doctors with a better understanding of the work the RCP has undertaken to examine the role of the physician in the modern hospital environment. It will also provide a platform for these groups at the start of their careers to join the discussion on the changes needed in the health service and what will be expected from them as the role of the physician evolves. The evening will also include an opportunity to meet and network with RCP officers. The event starts at 7pm and closes at 9.35pm.
The event is £5 for RCP student and foundation doctor members and £20 for non-members. If you are not currently a member, join as an RCP member and save £15 on your delegate fee, as well as gain access to membership benefits. Find out more about membership and join today on the RCP website. Delegate fees including networking drinks and a light buffet.
